Outboard Turning Stand
Ray is using the bedway and two stands as an outboard turning stand. This allows the user to turn larger than 40" on a very stable platform. It will also allow you to do most of the inside hollowing before turning the piece around for the finish work.
Decorative Work
These photos show the same outboard turning assembly but with the use of a vega duplicator to do decorative work on the outside of the work. You can also do round molding, picture frames and much more.
